We liked this museum so much we bought a membership! My son is
a train fan and is very interested in looking at the variety of
model trains displayed in cases. Of course he especially loves the
model diorama upstairs! We always do a tour of the boats and the
fishing displays, but he is always in a big hurry to see his favorites
– the trains! Most of the people who work at the museum seem
to genuinely like it when children come in for a visit…

I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon your museum. I really enjoyed
viewing the exhibits. Not only is the collection very impressive,
but it is extremely well displayed. Thanks so much for your help
in finding a source for the hard leather reel cases I am looking
for. I spoke to Don Horsfield and he was very excited to get started
constructing them. Turns out he is a fly fisherman himself and knows
of the type of reels I own, so he will be able to get the proper
dimensions with no problems. …part of what attracts me to fly
fishing is the notion that it is as much an art form as it is a
sport. Also, what I like about it is that it is a sport where the
traditions and the traditional equipment is highly revered (ah,
I guess you already know this, gee, somebody ought to start a museum
