The presentation of the train room was consciously meant to
be an interaction of nature in one-half and man-made objects
in the other half, giving the visitor a choice at any time of
balancing his view of one with the other. The visitor's experience
was not to be the layout alone, but the combination of the natural
diorama interwoven with the "hard edge" structure
of the train displays. The diorama itself is generally Fraser
Valley and Kettle Valley landscapes.
